Our Owner
Nóel Gordon is the owner of Rebel Bookkeeping, L.L.C.
Nóel has 10 years of experience in corporate finance, with specialized expertise in federal income tax policy, small business bookkeeping, and management accounting.
Nóel’s track record of success as an accountant and finance team leader includes managing multiple multi-million-dollar budgets, ensuring all staff compliance with complex regulatory requirements, and facilitating cross-functional collaborations and cost-cutting initiatives that helped drive financial growth and sustainability across the public and nonprofit sectors.
In his most recent role as a Chief Financial Officer (CFO), Nóel managed a $15 million budget, ensuring efficient payroll and payables processing each month, accurate quarterly financial reporting, and strict adherence to all applicable local, state, and federal income tax laws. Nóel was responsible for a team of three staff accountants, and they successfully lead the organization through two independent audit processes. As CFO, Nóel had worked closely with the Board of Directors to develop over 20 tax-compliant financial policies and accounting procedures that would support the organization’s growth.
Nóel is a proud product of Nevada’s best public schools, as well as, a member in good standing of the National Association of Black Accountants and the National Black MBA Association. Nóel was admitted to practice before the Internal Revenue Service in 2024.
Nóel holds a Bachelor’s degree from the University of Michigan-Ann Arbor, and a double Master’s degree in business administration and public policy from the University of Minnesota, where he studied management accounting and corporate finance
